BenchMark added for trading USDINDEX, SWISS20, NETH25 and CHINA50

BenchMark expands its spectrum of CFD offered on market indexes with USDINDEX (Dollar index), SWISS20 (Switzerland 20), NETH25 (Netherlands 25), and CHINA50 (FTSE China A50 Index). You can find more information about the trading conditions here

Please, keep in mind that the new instruments are added in MT5. In MT4 there is only USDINDEX. Below you will find detailed information about the compositions of every of the new indexes.

USDINDEX

The dollar index is an instrument, which serves as measurement of the US Dollar strength against 6 other major currencies. The index goes up when the greenback rises in value versus the rest of the currencies. The ratio of the currencies in the index is distributed as it follows:

  • Euro (EUR) - 57.6% portion
  • Japanese yen (JPY) - 13.6% portion
  • Pound sterling (GBP) - 11.9% portion
  • Canadian dollar (CAD) - 9.1% portion
  • Swedish krona (SEK) - 4.2% portion
  • Swiss franc (CHF) - 3.6% portion 

BenchMark offers USDINDEX as CFD on futures contract as the contract expires every 3 months.

SWISS20

The swiss index, commonly known as SMI or “the blue chips is Switzerland” is compiled of the 20 biggest and most liquid companies the the country. The companies, after its last adjustment from 10.04.2019, are as it follows:

The index is modified in 2017 because until that moment Nestle, Roche and Novarts were containing 60% of the total value of the benchmark. According to the current formulation a certain company cannot precede more than 18% of its (SWISS20) value.

NETH25

Netherlands 25, also known as AEX (Amsterdam Exchange Index), is a measurer of dutch companies, traded on the Euronext Amsterdam Stock Exchange. The index consists of maximum 25 companies, which are the most traded on the Euronext Amsterdam. The companies in the index after its last rebalancing from 1.11.2018 are:

CHINA50

The name of the market index is FTSE China A50 Index. All the companies in the index are traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange, which offer only “A” shares – shares traded only on the local market. “B” shares are those shares, whcih are intended to be traded only by foreigners. The index futures are one of the very few ways to trade Chinese stocks as a foreign investor. That is one of the main reason why they are so highly liquid as the daily trading volume exceeds 3 billion usd. CHINA 50 is denominated in us dollars. All the companies in the index is 50. The first 10 in the index represent 50% of the index value.
